APIA, SAMOA – 27 JUNE 2023: The Commissioner of Police has confirmed that the Manager of the Samoa National Provident Fund Audit Division is one of two men now charged with the possession of narcotics after police raided a family home at Moamoa last week.
Auapaau Logoitino Filipo said the two men were arrested along with three others who were later released while the two remain under police custody.
Materials confiscated include a methamphetamine scale, utensils and unlawful ammunition.
Both men will appear in Court on 30 June 2023.
In a separate incident, police have identified the driver of the hit and run incident at Savalalo last Thursday night.
Auapaau identified the driver as a taxi driver.
The victim was a Filipino woman who is still in hospital as police investigations continue.
