The slow trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 40/31.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 695.35 points or 0.21 per cent to close at 330,050.64.
The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 586.98 points or 0.19 per cent to close at 316,392.26, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 16.05 points or 0.42 per cent to close at 3,805.46.
The JSE USD Equities declined by 3.66 points or 1.42 per cent to close at 254.00.
