Incarcerated dancehall artiste Adidja 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer will soon have his murder conviction appeal heard by Jamaica's final appellate court, the Privy Council.
In a conversation with the STAR, Palmer's lawyer Isat Buchanan confirmed the development and that the date of February 14 and 15, 2024 are now on the registry.
Buchanan filed a request for an expedited hearing to Palmer's appeal due to his ongoing health conditions.
It was reported earlier this year by Fox News New York that Kartel's Graves' Disease and heart condition were getting worse, and that if he did not get surgery soon, it could be fatal.
More details soon.
