Alleged Goat Thieves Murdered in Adelphi, St James

Two alleged goat thieves  were murdered by gunmen  in Adelphi, St James, on Thursday morning, July 6, after they were allegedly caught stealing goats from a farm.

The identities of the men have not yet been released by the police.

Reports by the police are that about 5:00am, on Thursday, residents living in the community reported hearing gunshots coming from a section of the community.

About 7:00am , residents stumbled upon the bodies of the two unidentified men, with stab and gunshot wounds.

One of the men was lying along the roadway with gunshot and chop wounds, while the other man was seen slumped around the steering wheel of a Toyota Voxy bus, with gunshot wounds.

The scene was processed and the victims taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Investigators say they also recovered a number of live goats which were inside the bus.
