Central Board of Health (CBH) workers stationed at the St John’s Health Centre remain engaged in ongoing industrial action, with plans to march to their union’s headquarters.
The workers, numbering over 100, initiated a sit-in on Wednesday, demanding resolution for issues such as unpaid overtime, back pay, salary increases, and travel allowance.
Dissatisfied with the response from their representative union, the Antigua Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU), the workers intend to rally at the union building on North Street following a march from their main building on All Saints Road. (OBSERVER)
