The spiritual head and Chairman of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Abidoye, has asked President Bola Tinubu to institute a probe panel into the repairs and maintenance of refineries in the country by past administrations.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday to herald this year’s Conference/Convention of the church, Abidoye urged the President to make all refineries in the country work within six months to alleviate the suffering of the people.
“My advice is that all the refineries across the country should be much more focused on and made to work within the next six months. The government should set up a probe panel to investigate the billions of dollars already invested in the maintenance of the same refineries in the past years and those involved in any form of scam be brought to book.
“I also commend President Tinubu on the searchlight beamed on the activities of the Central Bank of Nigeria and urge him to extend such courage to all federal ministries, parastatals, and agencies among others, to unravel their activities in the past years and expose all those found to have defrauded this country in one way or the other in order to serve as a deterrent to other public officers in government,” Abidoye said.
