A nurse has said that she struggles to "hear herself think" sometimes in her garden due to the noise from small aircraft flying overhead.
Sally Selby, 56, says the noise at the weekends is sometimes so bad she has to stop conversations until planes have flown over as it is so loud. And the situation is making her life a misery.
The planes and helicopters are flying over her home in Hanbury, near Burton and taking off and landing at nearby Tatenhill Airport.
The nurse, who works for a private firm, feels the noise has got significantly worse over the course of the last year and that there is a 'constant drone' for long periods at weekends.

Ms Selby, who lives in Hanbury Wood End with her husband Andy, said: "I am just so fed up with it. Every weekend from around nine in the morning they are flying over my cottage till late afternoon.
"I have counted over 20 in the space of a few hours last Saturday. It's awful as there is this constant drone. You could be having a conversation out in the garden and you will have to pause to let them go overhead."
She now says that the noise is having a serious negative impact on her life and suggests that the times when aircraft are flying is spread out more to avoid long periods of constant noise.
She added: "It is just making my life a misery. It is a real nuisance. I have lived in Hanbury for 30 years and it has never been like this.
"I initially thought that it may have something to do with St George's Park with footballers coming in and out but that's not the case.
"I just do not get it. I remember having a BBQ a few weeks ago and we had to stop our conversation regularly through the afternoon as they went over.
"I want to say to them, don't just fly over, circling around the village. There is no reason why they have to constantly be coming over Hanbury, they can go off over other places.
"It is the equivalent of me playing music loudly outside their houses all day on every Saturday and Sunday. I think they should just consider the households and the villages.
"I don't want them to stop but they should consider going a different route and mixing it up. I don't think that is an unreasonable request. Just spread it out a bit more.
"You can't even leave the house as if you went for a walk in the woods nearby, the peace is constantly ruined.
"I am very very angry they are not considering the impact."
A spokesperson from Hanbury Parish Council said: "We have been in touch with the airfield regarding this and have yet to receive a response."
A spokesperson from Tatenhill Airport said: "We currently have no comment to make."
