SURVIVOR fans are thrilled the hit CBS reality show is back for a new season.
The series is hosted by Jeff Probst and sees a new batch of hopefuls take on the ultimate challenge.
How many seasons of Survivor are there?
After 21 years and 41 seasons,, Survivor is one of the longest-running reality television shows in the US.
The show is now back for season 42.
Much like the previous season, it is a shortened season spanning only 26 out of the usual 39 day, due to the Covid-19 pandemic requiring all cast and production members to quarantine for 14 days and taking up some of the short production time.
The Mamanuca Islands in Fiji will be the backdrop for Survivor for the sixth season running.
When does Survivor season 42 start?
Survivor kicked off on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 on CBS at 8pm EST.
The show will continue every Wednesday at this same time.
