NEW DELHI -- India ranked 107 out of about 120 countries and regions in the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2022, according to the latest GHI report.

COLOMBO -- Two people have died while 21,888 people from 5,212 families have been affected by the floods and landslides in the last 48 hours in Sri Lanka, the Disaster Management Center (DMC) said on Saturday.

PHNOM PENH -- The death toll in an overloaded boat accident in southern Cambodia's Kandal province on Thursday night had risen to 11, and the rescue mission has completed, officials said on Saturday.
Kun Kim, first vice president of the National Committee for Disaster Management, who led the rescue operation, said the rescue efforts ended at 6:15 a.m. local time after the last body was founded. (Cambodia-Accident-Injuries)
