KABUL -- The burial site of Taliban co-founder Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid has been disclosed in Afghansitan's southern Zabul province, chief spokesman of Afghanistan's Taliban-run caretaker government Zabihullah Mujahid has said.
"The tomb of late Amirul Mominen (Supreme leader) Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid was revealed to public at a ceremony attended by ranking officials in Omarzo area of Suri district, Zabul province, on Sunday," Mujahid tweeted. (Afghanistan-Taliban Founder-Tomb)

JALALABAD, Afghanistan -- The Afghan forces have arrested a group of five kidnappers and rescued a man from captivity in the eastern Nangarhar province, the provincial administration said in a statement released on Monday.

TOKYO -- An advisory panel for the finance minister on Monday proposed that the Japanese government end free-of-charge coronavirus vaccinations, highlighting concerns over a further increase of its financial strain.

BANGKOK -- Thailand's consumer inflation growth slowed for the second straight month in October as energy and food prices continued to fall, data showed on Monday.
