PHNOM PENH, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will attend the 32nd ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) meeting and ASEAN Foreign Ministers' (AMM) retreat in Jakarta, a foreign ministry's statement said on Wednesday.

His attendance will be made at the invitation of Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, the statement said.

The ACC meeting, to be held on Feb. 3-4, will focus on the follow-up to the "ASEAN leaders' statement on the application of Timor-Leste for ASEAN membership" and the "Declaration on the Blue Economy," the statement said, adding that the ministers will also discuss the priorities in 2023.

At the AMM meeting, the ministers will deliberate the "recommendations on strengthening ASEAN's capacity and institutional effectiveness by the high-level task force on ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision," it said.

They will also exchange views on external relations, and regional and international issues of common interest and concern, it added.

Indonesia will lead the ASEAN process this year under the theme "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth" to ensure ASEAN becomes a barometer of cooperation that contributes to peace, stability and prosperity of the region and the world.
