PHNOM PENH, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia and Timor-Leste are scheduled to sign two bilateral documents on air services and rice trade this week, Cambodia's foreign ministry said in a press statement on Tuesday.

The air services cooperation agreement and the memorandum of understanding on rice trade between the two countries will be inked during the visit of Timor-Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta to Cambodia from Wednesday to Friday, the statement said.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Ramos-Horta will witness the signing ceremony after their bilateral meeting in Phnom Penh on Thursday afternoon.

Ramos-Horta's visit to Cambodia "will further strengthen and deepen the relations and cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks for mutual benefits of the two countries", the statement said.

According to the statement, during the visit, Ramos-Horta will be granted a royal audience by Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, and pay separate courtesy calls on Senate President Samdech Say Chhum and National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin.
