HANOI, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's dragon fruit prices have tripled from a year earlier as lower supply and rising demand combine.
The output of dragon fruit in Vietnam was brought down by the COVID-19 pandemic, while China's demand for the fruit has been on the rise since China reopened its borders in January.
Currently, China is the top destination for Vietnamese dragon fruit, and exports to China account for 90 percent of Vietnam's total dragon fruit shipments.
