Although currently closed for the filming of the 2021 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here ! Gwrych Castle is already gearing up for its re-opening and planning some spooky events.
The castle will be home to celebrities for the second year running this winter thanks to the ITV reality show but it is also home to some supernatural inhabitants - and thrill-seekers will soon be able to try and hunt them down.

Posting on Instagram, Gwrych Castle announced the news that it will be running ghost tours from March 2022 to December 2022 on selected dates.
The post said: "Real life ghost encounters by visitors to Gwrych Castle are commonplace, but are you brave enough to join them? Well, now you can!"
The tickets are priced at £40 per person and include vigils on the grounds of the castle and within the castle itself using paranormal equipment such as dowsing rods and K2 meters.
On the castle's website there are accounts from those who have seen ghosts at the castle, including a security guard for last year's series of I'm A Celebrity, he said: “I was working on security for ITV during the filming of I’m A Celebrity and we were sat in the castle’s chapel. My colleague and I saw the figure of a woman pass by the door. We both ran out and there was no one there. We can both confirm that there was definitely NO living person in the vicinity!"
Running from 8pm to 2am, ghost hunters will spend all night at the castle trying to detect any spooky spirits.
The castle advises warm clothing for the ghost hunting - only open to those aged 16 and above - as well as bringing a torch.
All the proceeds from the ghost hunting go towards the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust which looks after and fundraises for the castle.
