The luxury yacht Alfa Nero will be sold in a live televised event on Friday, June 16.
The sale will be supervised by a three-member panel representing the judiciary, clergy, and private sector.
Darwin Telemaque, the General Manager of the Antigua and Barbuda Port Authority, announced that the bidding process has concluded, with only pre-deadline bids considered.
Both the local and US governments conducted due diligence to ensure bidder eligibility.
The sealed bids will be transferred from a vault, opened, and reviewed on live television.
The highest bidder will be announced, and they will have seven days to complete the payment.
